The Eliot Police Honor Guard is commanded by Lieutenant Robert Brown, who is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and consists of two rifle guards, the National color bearer, the State color bearer and at times, a member of the honor guard carries a flag bearing the official town of Eliot seal.
The Honor guard participates in several events throughout the year to include The Memorial day parade and celebration of our nations veterans, The Eliot Festival day celebration and the Veterans day tribute at the Marshwood Middle School.
The members of the Eliot Police Department Honor Guard are dedicated professionals who take great pride in paying tribute to not only the veterans of this great nation, but also the officers who serve and protect all over the US.
Besides Lt. Brown, Detective Elliott Moya, who holds the position of State color bearer, is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
