The Citizen Radar Program is designed to allow our citizens to sign out a hand held radar unit and log speeding vehicles. A letter of warning will be issued by the Chief of Police to the offending vehicles registered owner. Applicants will not be accepted if they have any felony convictions, a DUI within the last two years, or any assault conviction (subject to Departmental discretion).

The Speed Trailer is a portable speed and traffic measuring unit can be placed wherever roadside space allows. This unit captures speed and traffic flow information and is an excellent deterrent in slowing traffic. If you have a spot for the trailer we will deliver it for the day.
