Veterans Tribute
The Eliot Police Department is a proud supporter of the men and women who serve in the armed forces of our great nation. We recognize the sacrifices that these true heroes and their families make on a daily basis.
We also recognize the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice and unselfishly given their lives while defending us and protecting our freedoms world wide.
It is because of this, that in the summer of 2009 Chief Short created the Veterans memorial garden which is located on the property of the Eliot Police Department and is visible as you pass by on State Road.
We hope that you as you drive by our facility, you will take a look at the garden and keep these brave men and women in your thoughts.
Below are some pictures of the garden which we hope to add to this spring and remember, if you see a man or woman in uniform, tell them thank you.
