HONOR GUARD
The Patrol Division of the Eliot Police Department provides our citizens and visitors with 24/7 professional police services. The Patrol Division consists of five full-time officers and several part-time officers that enforce Federal, State laws and municipal ordinances. Our officers investigate general complaints, motor vehicle violations, motor vehicle crashes, conduct arrests and respond to medical assistance calls.

PATROL
SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER
In August of 2020, in the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic, we realized the benefit of a formalized Crisis Intervention program. We have since partnered with both NAMI Maine and Sweetser mental health to work to provide the best possible response to mental health calls within our community.
The Eliot Police Department is committed to working with our schools to support students and families. In 2021, in partnership with RSU 35, we applied for and were awarded a federal grant to add a School Resource Officer.
